Snowpocalypse

Yesterday we got a gift.  Granted, it was one of those the-good-part-is and the-bad-part-is gifts, but it was a gift nevertheless.

This was our gift...

Please notice the car to the left in the second picture.  These photos were taken around 9:30 a.m.

When it lightend up for a while around 1:30 p.m., it looked like this:

All in all we got over NINE INCHES of snow yesterday.  The good part is we have a guy that plows our driveway for us.  The bad part is that The Boy will have to dig his car out before that can happen, and it may not happen until tomorrow since our guy is so busy now.

Work has been closed for two days.  That's the good part.  The entire city area pretty much shut down yesterday - even the city busses stopped running at 1:00 p.m. because they just couldn't get traction on the streets.  Restaurants, shopping centers, almost everything closed.

The bad part is that I'm baking and EATING and getting on Hubster's nerves.  He isn't used to me being home during the week.

And that isn't all.  We have MORE SNOW COMING on Monday.  I have a feeling the stir-craziness will be doing me in very, very soon...

Send help.  NOW.

Whew, that is quite the dump of snow you've had. Makes for great pictures, though. :v)
