Wonky House

Yesterday we made an offer on another house.

It's the house shown in this photo:

Strangely enough, this is the same photo I picked for the blog yesterday, before we'd even seen the inside of the house.

Since the fascia boards are cut at an angle it makes the front of the house look very strange indeed.  Because of that, I have christened this place "Wonky House."

Wonky House has two bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, a dining area and living area.  It also has a garage and laundry room.  What you can't see from this photo is that it has vinyl siding on the parts that aren't painted white.  (I think I would've chosen a different, less distinctive color, but that's me.)

The parts that are painted white desperately need some love.  The driveway could use some as well.  But other than that, this little house is practically perfect for our needs.

Here's the side that you can't see from the first photo:

Isn't that a sweet little patio?  And here's the view from the patio:

That's the back yard, complete with mature trees, fenced in for children to play.  The wrought iron needs paint, but it's a great area.

I have to stop here, because I'm getting all excited about it.  We won't find out about whether our bid was accepted for some time, but you can see I hope it's ours.

I'll try to keep you updated!

Love the back porch and view. The wonky fascia, not so much. LOL Hope all goes well!
