Ow

All weekend long it either threatened rain, or it rained.

What you may not know about RA is that the weather has a lot to do with how you feel on any given day. Sunshine and blue skies are great.  Decreased air pressure is not nice.  Not nice at all.

And that's the way it was.

When this happens I get all morose and weepy and I'm generally a pain to live with.  I spend all the time I can beneath the covers in my warm cocoon of a bed, coming out only for Kleenex, potty breaks, and food. I down Vicodin like candy.

But this time I vowed I wasn't going to check out the way I usually do.  I vowed to clean our pigsty of a house, even if I had to do it all myself, and even if it took me a sweet forever to do it.

I asked for help from The Boy and The Girl, which was laughable in and of itself.  Of course, they turned me down flat.  Hubster cleaned the living room, and I got started on the office area.  I got about a fourth of it done and looking decent before I collapsed in a heap.  I went to bed, thinking I had to get up to help out at church the next day at 9 a.m.

Only I didn't.

Hubster woke me at 9, and asked if I was going in to help.  I vaguely remember telling him no, then sunk under the covers for another two hours.

It seems the cleaning did me in.

However.

I now have the bathrooms done.

The new RA med, Orencia, is to be delivered tomorrow.  Here's hoping it works wonders!

Onward and upward.

Oy. It would help if Orencia was 45, came armed with a mop and bucket. My sympathies, my friend. Pain and I are well acquainted. Dampness is the worst.

Do you remember me? The one who never writes anything anywhere? I am back. You may celebrate. xx
